Many of these modules are now available on this site and the others will be constructed as required to facilitate individual and group study. They can be addressed in any order. Most are restricted and require permission but a number are open to peruse. See for example:
The intention is to provide a simple means of presenting and critiquing current practice linked to a rich and relevant literature which will help in extending and stimulating new thinking and action. It is expected that these modules would guide the reflective group process and participating principals may also use them within their schools.

A range of
ideas will be provided to guide thinking and evidence gathering across these
dimensions. Many of the templates provided will encourage the gathering of
these data digitally ensuring that they could be shared with virtual visitors
if so desired by the reflective group. A variety of articles, available
electronically will be listed in these sections which discuss the
implications of focusing on interactions.

In this
section a survey of the methods and instruments available to establish both
correlation and cause will be made available. Participants will be assisted
to firstly understand what is available and then to experiment with concepts
that appeal. Readings
will include papers from measurement and evaluation literature as well as
those specifically written for school leaders and emphasising process and

Reflective comment and on-going record.

In this
section which could be utilised also as a credit for those who wished to
engage more intensively, it is proposed to make available to each group,
access to the concept map material which can be viewed presently on http://www.edex.net.nz/default.asp?pageid=24
This when
released in browser format enables participants to append material which they
are currently using under the headings above but in a portfolio approach. This
collection will be accessible via NZPLC for participants and may also form
part of an additional research project.
